About Our Northgate Service
Our inspectors are fully licensed and cover the complete range of vehicles — from your everyday hatchback through to prestige cars, off-road 4WDs, modified vehicles, motorbikes, scooters, and trailers. We also provide Uber and DiDi COI certificates for rideshare drivers, plus defect clearance inspections for vehicles with outstanding defect notices.
Here's how it works for Northgate customers: book online, pick your time, and we come to you. Our inspectors are on the road 8am to 8pm, so there's usually a same-day or next-day slot available. The inspection takes between 30 and 60 minutes, and your certificate is emailed on the spot. You don't even need to be home — unattended bookings are fine.

A key part of what makes Tick It Roadworthies different is that we don't fix vehicles. Ever. That means when your car or motorbike is on the inspection bay, there's zero financial incentive for us to find problems that aren't there. Fully Licensed Safety Certificates
We're licenced as an Approved Inspection Station (AIS 12673) under Queensland regulations. Every safety certificate we issue in Northgate is fully valid and compliant with the Department of Transport and Main Roads requirements. You'll have everything you need to complete your registration transfer or sale.
